Programs

  • Experiential Educational Program

Aim to create a populace that is aware of, invested in, and engaged critically in social justice and environmental issues. Education can help persons develop the information, attitudes, drive, dedication, and abilities needed to work both individually and collaboratively to solve present issues and stop the emergence of new ones. We think that the greatest way to learn about the world is to engage with it directly and through experience. In order for kids, scholars, educators, and communities to fully comprehend our society and interact with it in a responsible, proactive, and progressive manner in the pursuit of environmental and social justice, we are eager to offer them chances of this kind.

  • Environment & Forest Policy

For more than 20 years, the Environment Support Group has worked to implement resilient and sustainable structural changes in waste management through field, policy, and legal interventions. Our work, which is mostly focused on the 14 million-person Bangalore metropolitan area and the state of Karnataka, is coordinated with related initiatives across the country. In order to ensure that the rights of vulnerable communities suffering from major contamination as a result of waste disposal are protected, we also work together with trade unions to advance the labor, occupational, and health rights of individuals managing trash.
