  • World Sparrow Day Celebrations

    The Nature Forever Society organizes World Sparrow Day annually on March 20th. In less than four years, it has grown widely popular, celebrated in over 40 countries worldwide, and gained traction, particularly in Europe and parts of South Asia. It has developed a dedicated website, www.worldsparrowday.org, featuring a unique collection of photographs and information on twenty-two sparrow species from around the globe, aimed at raising awareness about World Sparrow Day.

After a year and a half of persistent efforts, on August 14, 2012, the Delhi Government officially declared the House Sparrow as the State Bird of Delhi during the Rise for the Sparrow Campaign initiated by it.
