The Ganga Mahasabha is committed to ensuring the continuous and untainted flow of revered rivers like Alaknanda, Vishnu Ganga, Nandakini, Pindar, Mand Read moreakini, Bhagirathi, and the primary stream of the Ganges, from Dev-Prayag to Ganga Sagar. It firmly opposes any industrial effluents or waste that might pollute our sacred National River, regardless of the quantity. Driven by the belief that the Ganges is a divine entity and its uninterrupted flow represents the continuity of life, the organisation's vision aligns with the scriptures and the faith of billions of Indians. It emphasizes that preserving the Ganges' delicate ecology necessitates the continuous flow across time and space in all three dimensions—longitudinal, lateral, and vertical—to safeguard its unique and fragile environment.
