The trust was established in 2007 with the intention of providing financial Read more and moral support to the patients afflicted by kidney failure. The trust runs a fully equipped Dialysis Centre with 22 state-of-the-art Dialysis machines alongwith all other paraphernalia. The centre has dedicated Hepatitis C+, B+ and HIV units and provides dialysis at a heavily subsidized rate of ₹400 against the existing market rate of ₹1200 to ₹1800. As of June'21, more than 50,000 dialysis sessions have been conducted with over 110 patients using the facility on a recurring basis. The total capital expenditure till date is more than ₹2.5 Crores. Five leading nephrologists from Nashik city are onboard as consultants alongwith two full time doctors, eight trained technicians and eight support staff. The centre has it's own full fledged pathology laboratory, where charges are approximately 40% of prevailing market rates with a full time senior pathologist & one trained technician onboard. The centre also has a dedicated OPD, providing consultation at ₹30 per consultation including basic medicines for 3 days. The trust also runs vocational courses for underprivileged students training them as Dialysis technicians.
